As we kick off our thrilling series of 12 days of Christmas in July at the heart-throbbing Universal Orlando (yes, it's a mouthful, isn't it?), let's unravel one of our exclusive, lesser-known tips - the magical Early Park Admission.  ​

Everyone that stays on-property gets this one.  It gives you an extra hour in one park (sometimes both) at Universal’s discretion.  Sometimes this will allow you to get one, maybe two rides in before the masses are allowed in.  Sometimes it will allow you to get in two rides and be positioned as the first in line for your third ride. ​

While it is true that only the Harry Potter rides and VelociCoaster currently participate in this perk, it does mean that you can be early to get these rides out of the way (or, in the case of VelociCoaster,  maybe get your first thrill on it out of the way) and save more time for the rest of the adventures for later in the day!

So, exactly how does this work?  Simply put, for those staying on-property, after you show your ticket, you will then show your room key at a later touch point that will scan the bar code (to make sure it is valid), and they will let you on through the rope drop into the rest of the park.  You then simply follow the rest of the Early Park Admission goers to the back of the park to start the Adventure!  Don’t worry; the Team Members will make sure you don’t get lost or wander off the path!

But if you like, you can scope a couple of other rides you might want to come back to that are not too far away from where you will be riding. ​
