Free Style Coke!Crack open the secret of Freestyle Cokes at Universal Orlando! Bubbles of confusion have surrounded this seemingly simple perk, so let's uncork the details together. Picture this: you step into the Florida heat, itching for a refreshing sip of your favorite soft drink. Snag a refillable mug from any vendor and voilà! – you've got a day's worth of free soda refills. Now, you might ask, "What about reusing the cups on another day?" Great question! As long as the chip in the cup is still operational, you can reactivate your soda privileges. Just add $10.99 + tax for a full day of refills at all participating locations. Or opt for a one-off refill at any soda fountain for a mere $1.69 + tax. Even better, if you're a fan of souvenirs, there's no shortage of themed cups and Butterbeer mugs available at gift shops. And these also qualify for discounted refills! There's one small catch, though – the Hogs Head mug is not included, and Butterbeer, Pumpkin Juice, Pumpkin Fizz, Buzz Cola, and Flaming Moes refills are not allowed. Also note that the refills for character mugs are limited to the day of purchase. So, you're all sorted, right? Well, grab your pen because here's where we dive into the nitty-gritty. You can actually buy a refillable mug from your resort too. But don't confuse the two - park mugs can't be refilled at the resort and vice-versa. Finally, onto a hot topic: what if your old cup's chip can't be reactivated? Traditionally, a friendly team member would replace it for you. Current protocol, however, leaves it up to individual discretion. Plus, the replacement cups lack handles, causing a little inconvenience. Bear this in mind if your handled mug harbors an old and possibly un-reactivatable chip! Thirsty for more, soda seekers? Do you have the fizz to discover the secret menu of the Freestyle machines?
