Can you believe it? We're only a few weeks into 2023, and it's already time to start thinking about 2024! That's right; if you're considering a fantastic trip to Disney World, you should start planning now.
Here's why - Although Disney has yet to open bookings for 2024 Walt Disney World vacations, we expect that to happen soon. Disney usually releases its packages in June. So, we could see them anytime between now and June! And I think it'll be late May or early June. 
Now, you may be wondering why it's so essential to start planning your Disney vacation early. Here's what you need to know:

Resort Availability is the Best on the Day Packages are Released

If you have your heart set on a specific resort or room category, you'll want to lock it in as soon as possible. Resort availability is at its peak on the day packages are released. If you wait too long, your dream resort may be fully booked.

Prices are the Lowest on the Day Packages are Released

The earlier you book, the better value you will get. Prices increase from the day packages are released, so if you want to save money, you should book as soon as possible.

Don't Wait for Last-Minute Discounts

My experience has taught me that there is no such thing as a last-minute discount at Disney, especially with the current demand. The ticket prices, dining plans, and other add-ons will increase, and those increases will happen sometime this year. So, don't wait!

Deposit and Cancellation Policies

All it takes is a $200 deposit per reservation to lock in your pricing. The remaining balance isn't due until 30 days before your scheduled arrival. Your deposit is refundable if you cancel before your final payment is due.
