Did you Know Walt Disney World has OVER 30 Hotels? How Do You Choose? That’s right ! over 30 hotels! And those are just the ones owned and operated by Disney. They range from simple, budget-friendly rooms to elegant, luxurious 4-Diamond accommodations. With so many excellent options, it is no wonder that busy moms have a hard time deciding on the best one for their family. I constantly see people post in the Facebook Moms Groups asking for recommendations on the best resort. But what is the best resort for one family may not be the best for your family. When my friend visited Walt Disney World as a kid, they stayed at the Grand Floridian because someone told their parents it was the best. They happened to be traveling the same week as some family friends, and they got to spend one night sleeping at their hotel. They were SO jealous of how much fun Caribbean Beach was. It was bright, and the pool slide was so much fun! But, they didn’t want to return to their resort the next night. They thought it was stuffy and boring. Remember, they were kids at the time, and now they would probably much rather stay at Disney’s Flagship resort. But it wasn’t the best fit for that family at that time. When deciding the best Disney resort, you need to consider your budget, family size, stamina, and interests. One of the first things I will help you do when you schedule a call is deciding on the best resort for your family. Disney breaks its resorts into three different budget categories: Deluxe, Moderate, and Value. Each type offers a different level of amenities. No one resort is right for everyone, but one is right for your family. No one is right for every trip. Is this a Bucket List type trip? Is this a Princess Pampering trip? Is this a quick weekend get away? Is this a single park trip? Is this a get-in-first-thing-in-the-morning-and -stay-to -last-thing-at-night type trip? Each of these will have a different type of resort. Do you have toddlers that NEED to go back to the room for a nap every day? Depending on your type of trip and our discovery call, I usually provide three resort options based on our conversations. From here we fine tune them until one you just can't wait to go on your trip! I have spent the last twelve years matching hundreds of families to their perfect Disney resort, and I can not wait to help match you with yours. So what do you think? Do you already have a Disney resort in mind for your next trip to Orlando, or do you need a bit of help to decide? I'm just a phone call away! Depending on your type of trip and our discovery call, I usually provide three resort options based on our conversations.
